Our Story

How a simple idea about accessible financial education became Glasgow's dedicated money management school.

Founded on Practical Experience

In 2018, a group of finance professionals in Glasgow noticed a troubling pattern: clients consistently arrived at their offices lacking fundamental money management knowledge. University graduates with advanced degrees struggled with basic budgeting. Parents felt unequipped to teach their children about saving.

Traditional financial education often fails because it remains abstract. Theory without application leaves learners unable to translate concepts into daily decisions. Our founders believed a different approach was needed—one grounded in practical scenarios relevant to Scottish households.

What Guides Our Teaching

Clarity Over Complexity

Financial jargon often creates barriers rather than understanding. We strip away unnecessary complexity, ensuring every concept is explained in terms that connect to real experiences.

Respect for Time

Our students lead busy lives. Every session is designed to maximise value within the allocated time, with no padding or unnecessary repetition.

Individual Pace

Financial backgrounds vary enormously. Our small class sizes allow instructors to adapt explanations to each learner's starting point.

Practical Application

Every course includes hands-on exercises using realistic scenarios. Learners leave with templates, worksheets, and action plans they can implement immediately.

Our Instructors

Each member of our teaching team combines professional financial credentials with a genuine passion for education. They have worked across banking, accounting, and financial planning before transitioning to full-time teaching roles.

Combined Expertise

Our instructors bring over 45 years of combined experience in financial services. This includes backgrounds in retail banking, investment management, chartered accountancy, and independent financial advice.

More importantly, each instructor has completed specialised training in adult education methodology. They understand that teaching financial concepts to children requires different techniques than engaging adult professionals, and our curriculum reflects these distinctions.

Based in Glasgow

Our teaching facility is located in Glasgow's city centre, accessible via public transport from all surrounding areas. The location was chosen specifically for its convenience to families across the Greater Glasgow region.

The space includes dedicated classrooms designed for interactive learning, with capacity for both group sessions and private consultations. Free parking is available nearby during evening and weekend sessions.
